MIAMI — Police say a Florida teenager who is accused of killing more than a dozen cats in two south Miami-Dade County neighborhoods fits the profile of a sociopath.
According to the 10-page arrest affidavit for Tyler Hayes Weinman, police tracked the 18-year-old's car and traced his cell phone before charging him with the crimes. The affidavit was unsealed Monday, the same day Weinman was formally arraigned in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

Weinman's attorney had already filed a written plea of not guilty to charges of 19 counts each of animal cruelty and improperly disposing of an animal body. Weinman also faces four counts of burglary related to the cat deaths.
He did not attend Monday's hearing.
